Color Palette Generator
Generate, lock, copy, and export complementary, analogous, monochromatic, or triadic palettes.
Processing happens locally in your browser. Your files and inputs are not uploaded to our servers.
How to use Color Palette Generator
- Choose random, complementary, analogous, monochromatic, or triadic mode.
- Generate colors, lock the ones you like, and regenerate the rest.
- Copy individual values, the full palette, or CSS variables.
What Color Palette Generator does
Palette relationships are generated by moving around the HSL color wheel. Locked colors stay fixed while unlocked colors can be regenerated, copied, or exported as CSS variables.
Examples
- Create a five-color analogous interface palette.
- Generate a triadic starting point for an illustration.
- Export selected HEX values as reusable CSS custom properties.
Frequently asked questions
Is my input uploaded?
No. This tool processes its input locally in your browser. Normal page requests do not include the contents you enter or select.
Does a generated palette guarantee accessibility?
No. Check foreground/background combinations with a contrast tool and test the palette in its real interface context.
Will it work in every browser?
The tool uses modern browser APIs. Current Chromium, Firefox, and Safari releases provide the best support; the page displays a clear error when a required capability is unavailable.
